IEEE WCNC 2025 Workshop on Integrated Sensing-Communication-Computation for Intelligence of Everything
24 march, 2025 Milan, Italy
CALL FOR PAPERS
The next generation of wireless technology (6G) will go far beyond just accommodating communication services but to push forward an era of true Intelligence of Everything (IoE) by providing immersive intelligent services. The realization of IoE involves the tight cooperation among three key functionalities, i.e., sensing for environmental perception, communication for information sharing, and computation for data analysis to make decision. This gives rise to a brand-new research area called integrated sensing, communication, and computation (ISCC), which aims to achieve mutual performance enhancement of the three basic functionalities of 6G intelligent networks and thus a better intelligent service. By an integrated design, it allows the sensed information to improve the efficiency and reliability of communication and computation, and the computation result to guide through sensing and computation in turn, accompanying significantly improved energy efficiency and reduced hardware as well as signaling cost.
